Ferenc Karako will referee the weekend game with Ujpest

It will be his fourth game involving Videoton in the first division.

The match official from Nyiregyhaza took his exam back in 2008. Karako was recommended by the inspectors and management within the sport in 2009. He started officiating games in the third division in the Tisza section. That saw him become a member of the youth group in the country, before moving on to second division games in 2011.

He made his debut in the top league in April 2015 in the Győri ETO FC - KTE game. He has refereed three games involving Vidi over the years. The first was in the League cup in a 3-3 draw with Paks in 2013. Saturday's referee was also in charge of our away league game at Paks, which ended in a 1-1 draw. He most recently officiated the Gyirmot - Vidi league game this season that ended in a 4-0 win.

Karako will be assisted by Georgiou Theodoros and Balazs Huszar for the match in Budapest. Fourth official will be Peter Kobor.
