Defeat and a sending off in the game at DVTK

The Miskolc side won by a four goal margin.

In the 22nd round of the OTP Bank Liga our team played away in Miskolc against DVTK. Our head coach Bartosz Grzelak started this time with Tóth B. - Serafimov, Spandler, Gergényi - Bese, Csongvai, Sigér, Christensen, Schön - Stefanelli, Gradisar.

The goal was first threatened in the 4th minute, when Csongvai's free kick was saved by Odyntsov, then Bese's 24-metre shot was saved by the home goalkeeper. In the 13th minute, a ball bounced dangerously towards the goal from Gergényi, with Tóth making his first save of the match. Four minutes later, after a VAR review, Csaba Pintér sent off Áron Csongvai after a foul against Bényei, and DVTK took advantage of the man advantage, after Stephen's cross was accidentally put into the net by Gergényi (1-0). At the end of the half, Odyntsov almost dropped the ball on Gradisar's head, but the home goalkeeper got away with a minor mistake, and Sigér's long-range shot closed the first half.

The second half started with a great strike by Gera that crashed off the bar, then Edomwonyi's header was saved by Balázs Tóth. In the 66th minute, our head coach made three changes, Stefanelli, Schön and Sigér left the pitch and were replaced by Tamás Tóth, Katona and Rúben Pinto. The local announcer had not even finished listing the substitutions when Franchu shot into our goal from five yards (2-0). In the 78th minute, Simut replaced Bese and Karamoko, returning from injury, replaced Gradisar. In the second half, our on-loan player Levente Szabó first converted a penalty (before which Pintér sent off Serafimov and awarded a free kick, but eventually changed the decision to a penalty and a yellow card on VAR's signal - 3-0), then fired a right-wing cross into our net from close range (4-0).

Next week we will play at Újpest on Sunday !
