Hungary U21 recently played their Turkish counterparts at the Sostoi
The Hungary - Turkey U21 qualification match took place at the Sostoi stadium on the 1st June 2012. Hungary included three Videoton players at the time, with Gosztonyi, Szolnoki and Kovacs all playing their part in the 1-0 win. The opponents brought on Soner Aydogdu in the 47th minute of that match. The young player was still at Ankara club Gençlerbirliği, but he moved to Trabzonspor for 2,5 million € in the summer.
Soner Aydogdu was born on the 5th January 1991, in Ankara. He has played for his country at youth level, from the age of 16, and even made one appearance for the senior Turkish national team. He has played 54 times in the Turkish league, scoring 5 goals. He plays in the central midfield position, which is also where he played in his sides U21 game at the Sostoi.
