A stronger Diosgyőr are next up!

Vidi travel to Miskolc for a league cup match with DVTK

One of the surprise sides of the autumn season was DVTK, who picked up 28 points inthe OTP league. That helped them to fifth place, which was a good return considering they were promoted in the summer to the top flight. It is no secret that their aim is to make it in to the Europa league, which was confirmed by Lazar Szentes, the clubs Director of Football on Monday.

They were busy during the winter transfer window bringing in 4 new players. The biggest name was Fernando Miguel Fernandez, who most recently played for Spanish side Malaga. Morroccan player Youssed Sekour as well as Brazilian Bernardo Frizoni also signed for the Miskolc side. Hungarian Andras Vagi was the final player to link up with them, signing from Swiss side FC Aarau. Miklos Benczes' side played a total of 12 pre-season friendlies over January and February. The manager told a press conference on Monday that they would be playing a different formation to the one they used over the autumn. The League cup tie will be played over two legs, with Videoton FC hoping to take an advantage into the second leg on the 7th March.
