Adam Gyurcso came on as a second half substitute for Hungary in Estonia on Friday evening
The Hungarian national team picked up an important World cup qualifier win in Estonia. A 1-0 win in Tallinn, gave Sandor Egervari's side three points in group D, which now sees Hungary in third place. The winning goal came from Tamas Hajnal in the 47th minute. Vidi player Adam Gyurcso came on in the 84th minute in place of Tamas Koltai, and he showed good movement in the little time he had.
"It was a difficult match, but we managed to achieve what we went there for: Fortunately we got the win and we are still in touch with second place in the group. I was especially pleased to get the chance to play against Estonia, even if it was for just a few minutes. I tried to take good advantage of the time given to me, and probably my best contribution was the cross I gave, which Adam Szalai headed at goal. It was interesting that it seemed as if I played for three minutes, as the time went by so quickly. We spent Sunday afternoon in Telki, which is where the national team are training, in preparation for our match with Turkey on Tuesday. It is yet another key match for Hungary. I am sure that it will be a very tough game. We will have both Roland Juhasz and Balazs Dzsudzsak missing for the match, with them both being banned, following their yellow cards in Estonia. Turkey lost at home to Romania in their most recent match, so I am sure they will be extra determined to make up for it. However, our squad is big and we have players who are capable of coming in and doing a good job. I hope that we will pick up a win. I also hope that I will get another chance to play in Tuesday's international match" - explained Adam Gyurcso to the club's website.
