Roland Juhász, two-time league winner with Vidi, is the new sporting director of the club from Monday.
 

Roland Juhász is the new sport director of MOL Fehérvár FC as of Monday.

Born in Cegléd on 1st July 1983, Roland Juhász started his football career in Tápiószecső FC, where he was signed by MTK in 1999. He played 107 first division games, scoring 12 goals and won the league title. In 2005 he was signed by Anderlecht of Belgium, where he played and scored in the Champions League, won four league titles in Belgium and was voted the best defender of the league. He scored 30 goals in over 200 appearances for the Brussels club.

He joined our club in 2013, and until his retirement in 2020, he was a big strength in Fehérvar. In 2015 and 2018, he won the Hungarian championship with Vidi, in 2018 he played in the Europa League group stage, in 2019 he helped Vidi win the Hungarian Cup, five times he was silver medalist in the league, once Hungarian Cup, twice League Cup runners-up. From 2015 to 2020, he wore the captain's armband of Vidi, and was also selected by the HLSZ in the team of the year several times. He scored 6 goals in 95 matches for the Hungarian national team.

After finishing his career, he started working as a sports consultant at our club, and in the autumn of 2020 he joined the coaching staff of our NB III team. Between April 2021 and February 2022 he was assistant coach of our first team under Imre Szabics, and from July 2022 he worked as the sports director of TVE III.
